I am a writer and researcher. My current research concerns the nineteenth-century excavators of the “bone caves” of Britain. These investigators include William Buckland, John McEnery and William Pengelly, but also lesser-known cave explorers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My PhD and MPhil from the University of Birmingham were concerned with the interpretation of archaeological evidence from the caves and settlements of Crete in the Neolithic and Bronze Ages. I have written and delivered many adult education courses on Archaeology, Ancient History, and Classics. I have also written biographical studies of Greek Philosophers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I live in Stourbridge in the Midlands, UK. As you might expect, I love museums and archives. I also draw natural history subjects, using various monochrome techniques.
